75 year old packs of Van Nelle's roll-your-own tobacco and Rizzla rolling paper.

We bought a storage tin which was "stuffed" with rolling tobacco and rolling paper🙈

Contained 53 packs of Van Nelle's rolling tobacco (50 grams).
also 85 packs of Rizzla rolling paper.

THEY'RE ALMOST OUT! Only 4 or 5 packs left in stock....

The tin comes from an estate and it is thought that Grandma filled it in or just after WWII to have a hidden stock.

I obtained the following information from a Van Nelle museum employee;
These packets were issued from 1914 onwards, at that time for 2 cents per 50 grams. That price rose to 10 cents per 50 grams just before the war. During the war, advertising was not allowed, so very little is known about the exact prices during that period, but it was a big shock, because the last known pack is a 95 cent pack from the early 1950s. The exact year is known. not me, but at least from the period 1940-1949.

I couldn't find them anywhere else for the price of fl.0.85, so this is a great opportunity for the collector or for film, television, theater, re-enactment, photo shoot, advertising, shop window, etc.

Individual sales are €15 per pack of Van Nelle's roll-your-own tobacco, including a pack of Rizzla rolling papers.
