Fairly rare Art Deco plate which was a promotional gift from the Verblifa tin factory in the late 1930s.

The text on the edge is embossed: "whatever the tide does, keep up the good spirits" and at the bottom NV Verblifa Amsterdam.
In the center is a matte circle with an abstract relief in relief of a ship in a storm with wild waves, wheels, lightning, etc.

This was made in 1939 = 84 years old, the diameter is 25 cm.

Verblifa, De Vereenigde Blikfabrieken was a Dutch company that manufactured tin packaging.
In addition to sheet iron items, enamel signs, household items, sheet metal and stamping work and cooking and heating items, plastic items were also manufactured.
The head office was located in Amsterdam and the company had factories in Weesp, Krommenie, Hillegersberg, Doesburg, Dordrecht, Delft, Oudenbosch and Utrecht, among others.
