Large Boyce Moto Meter made by the Boyce Meter Co. Long Island City, New York.

This one comes from a Packard car from the 1920s/30s.

Moto Meters were mainly used in the 1920's and 30's as radiator caps.
It was a practical tool that allowed drivers to see the temperature of the water in their engines from the driver's seat.

This motorcycle meter is in very neat condition but is missing 2 screws at the back.
This is a really big one, it's 8.5cm around!
The image of the Bi-Plane and radiator is super bright in color.
The glass is facet-cut and the edge is beautifully decorated, a beautiful object😎

Patented in 1912 by the Moto-Meter Company, this tool was an innovative solution for monitoring engine temperature.
The Boyce Motometer became obsolete when automakers began incorporating dashboard-mounted temperature gauges.

These types of items are popular with car memorabilia collectors, restorers, and classic car enthusiasts and are a must-have for any automobilia enthusiast.
