Cool 49cc old-timer sports moped straight from Italy 🇮🇹
This is a 1972 Demm, type America.
Will of course be delivered with a purchase invoice.
Block is loose but it will have to be restarted, see photos, what you see is what you get 😉
A must-have for collectors of mopeds in general and Italian motorcycles in particular.
It "smells" great anyway and is therefore also a perfect eye-catcher and super decorative in, for example, a clothing store or shop window, office, showroom, mancave, vintage, industrial interior 👊
Can be picked up for 950 or will be brought in consultation 🚚
Interested? Call / WhatsApp 0651694940 or send a message.
For your information:
The company name was Spa Officine Meccaniche Fratelli Daldi & Matteucci, Porretta Terme, Bologna, later this became Milano.
Demm was originally a gear factory, but started producing motorcycles from 1953.
Demm initially built motorcycles with 125 and 175cc two and four-stroke engines, but in the fifties they increasingly focused on 49cc mopeds with their own blocks.
These engine blocks were also supplied to other brands as built-in engines.
Where most other brands specialized in light motorcycles and opted for two or four-stroke engines, the Demm models were available with both variants.
In 1956 the brand already delivered three-speed models.
From 1959 to 1960, a number of 49cc road racers were also produced in various versions.
The four-stroke engines were equipped with a double overhead camshaft driven by a king shaft.
In the 1970s Demm limited itself to the production of built-in blocks and mopeds and production stopped in 1983.
